Picturesque is an art gallery in the beautiful town of Bourton-on-the-Water in the English Cotswolds. The gallery is owned and run by Sue Birtwistle as a showcase for her own work and the work of a select group of local artists. It is less than a minutes walk from the war memorial in the centre of the town.
We sell original paintings, quality prints, greetings cards, pottery and jewellery, which are the work of our own artists and thus unique to the gallery. All make beautiful gifts or reminders of a memorable visit to the Cotswolds.
Our focus is work which represents the villages, flora and fauna of the Cotswold landscape.
As the gallery is staffed by the artists themselves you may often see one of them painting in the gallery.
